Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
2-3 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
½ t. cayenne pepper
2 t. chili powder
1 t. ground cumin
1 t. smoked paprika
Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
1 head Romaine lettuce, washed and separated

To serve:

1 large avocado, diced
1 c. 4-cheese Mexican blend, finely shredded
¼ c. fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 c. prepared salsa

Directions

  1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Remove from heat and drain excess fat from pan.
  2. Add garlic, cayenne pepper, chili powder, ground cumin, and smoked paprika to skillet. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste and stir until beef is evenly coated.
  3. Pat lettuce leaves dry with a paper towel before topping with a scoop of seasoned ground beef. Add avocado, cheese, salsa, and fresh cilantro, as desired. Wrap lettuce edges around filling to hold inside and serve immediately. Enjoy!
