Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
2-3 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
½ t. cayenne pepper
2 t. chili powder
1 t. ground cumin
1 t. smoked paprika
Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
1 head Romaine lettuce, washed and separated
To serve:
1 large avocado, diced
1 c. 4-cheese Mexican blend, finely shredded
¼ c. fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 c. prepared salsa
Directions
- Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Remove from heat and drain excess fat from pan.
- Add garlic, cayenne pepper, chili powder, ground cumin, and smoked paprika to skillet. Season with salt and black pepper, to taste and stir until beef is evenly coated.
- Pat lettuce leaves dry with a paper towel before topping with a scoop of seasoned ground beef. Add avocado, cheese, salsa, and fresh cilantro, as desired. Wrap lettuce edges around filling to hold inside and serve immediately. Enjoy!
